The Challenge
As an artist gaining notable traction in the DMV area, DeMarcus possessed a powerful portfolio but lacked a digital home to anchor it. To transition from a local photographer to a professional brand, he needed a space that reflected the richness and poetry of his artistic voice. The challenge was to build the first website for the brand that allowed the photography to steal the spotlight.

Visual Stewardship
Our process was centered on the idea of visual stewardship. We wanted the design to step back and allow the photography to lead the conversation. We chose the WordPress platform to provide DeMarcus with total autonomy, ensuring he could easily curate his evolving portfolio as his career continues to grow.
The Digital Gallery
The design language we developed is minimalist and intentional. By utilizing a clean, spacious layout, we created a digital environment that mimics the experience of walking through a high-end gallery.
