Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Ms. Villa provides strategic direction for the organization's technology offerings and promotes growth through technology innovation. She has more than 30 years of experience in information systems and modeling in the government sector and has served as a principal consultant to the Department of Defense in the analysis and management of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. In 2012, Ms. Villa received the Small Business Administration (SBA) SBIR Tibbetts Award, presented to individuals who embody excellence in high technology in support to the SBIR Program. Recent activities have focused on accelerating the transition of emerging technologies into defense acquisition programs of record, as well as serving on the White House Interagency Innovation and Entrepreneurship Working Group. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary, an M.S. in Operations Research from George Mason University, and doctoral studies in Integer Programming (Combinatorial Optimization of the Bandwidth Packing Problem) also from George Mason University.
